Center of Disease
Center of Disease began in early 2012 in Tulsa, OK by John Bosworth Jr. -vocals/ rythm guitar, Josh Snider - lead guitar, Shawn McCullough -Bass, Josef Ronning- drums. Quickly C.O.D. began writing songs and playing shows in Oklahoma and Texas. In 2013, Josef, Josh and C.O.D. parted ways and was replaced by Ben Gleason- drums and Mike Winston- lead guitar. Both Mike and Ben had been in the local metal scene since the mid 90's and had been in numerous bands together. Needless to say, C.O.D. had written a live set of all new songs very fast at this time and started playing more shows in OK and Texas. In early 2016 the band saw another line up change as Ben was let go from the group and was replaced by friend of the band Raul Pena who they knew was an amazing guitarist and had been trying to find him a band for months with no avail so he decided to join C.O.D. on drums. Soon after that they released their 5 track demo cd, opened for Vital Remains and then traveled to Las Vegas to play LVDF 8. After playing TXDM Fest '16 C.O.D. began writing new songs.
