Kick Tree
Kick Tree
"KICK TREE could be considered a venues dream come true and nightmare all in one. Their vulgarity in lyricism pairs nicely with their punk rock persona. Their music isn't farfetch'd from the early days of Green Day, but comes with a much louder, aggressive live show that just can't seem to be ignored. My synopsis of KICK TREE is to expect very big things for their future, as they very well could be the sleeping giant waiting to revise, and rekindle the spirit of punk rock music."

Kick Tree is a 5-piece, high energy rock band from the Tulsa, OK area. Starting originally in 2009 in Claremore, OK as a 3-piece with a raw punk rock sound, our sound has developed over time into a great mix of rock'n roll with a punk attitude. We bring an exciting and fun show to any stage we play. Our first full length album "Family Ties" is set to be released in 2014 following their 2013 EP release "Nuclear Winter".

Kick Tree has been selected to play:

"The Naming of Kick Tree":
The name “Kick Tree” came about when we had our first show and were still nameless. Shua asked his, at the time, 3 year old son what we should name the band. He said Green Day.... and we said well that’s taken bud do you have any other ideas? He then said, as matter of fact as a three year old can “Kick Tree”. We asked, “KICK TREE?? Why buddy??”and he simply said, “Well, you can kick trees!”....DONE....We are Kick Tree

Sleepwalking Home
Sleepwalking Home
With a barrage of adjectives and hyperbole, musicians describe themselves and seek to impress those unfamiliar with their work. Flowery expressions illustrate how their music transcends definition. This all, of course, is wasted space as ten seconds of a song can tell you more about a band than paragraphs will ever say.
Pretense aside, let us speak of Sleepwalking Home. A quintet from Tulsa, OK. The band consists of vocalist Michelle Ameen, guitarist Kenny Matthews, guitarist Justin Huggins, bassist Trey Landis and drummer/vocalist Nick Barton. Sleepwalking Home blends elements of Hardcore, Progressive and Pop to ride a balance between the aggressive and beautiful.
“To me it is all about showing the heavy and melodic.” Says Matthews, “I mean, there is no formula when we write a song, but somehow both sides are present when it is finished.”
There is an intelligence to the songwriting, while still maintaining unfettered energy and pop sensibility.
When asked to describe the music Ameen answered, “Our music, in a multitude of ways, sparks incredible emotion deep beneath our hard surfaces and lyrically it gives everybody something to relate to.”
Sleepwalking Home is a group of people who genuinely enjoy each other’s company and value each other’s opinion. The bi-product of which seems to be really good music.
There we have it. Sleepwalking Home. A few paragraphs of, almost, exaggeration free information, but you know the drill. Take a listen and see what you think. I am betting you will like what you hear.
Beneath began in the winter of 2004 in Tulsa OK. The band released their first album in 2005 "moonlit apocolypse" featuring the original line up. In 2006 the band released their second album "a series of echoes" and picked up their full time front man, Tyler Nixon. The band went trough several member changes before releasing their third album "the new holocaust" in 2009. Now, with a brand new line up, the band will be hitting the studio to release 3 new songs off their upcoming fourth album "prophecy". The band will be planning on hitting the road in the spring and summer of 2010
