After Midnight
After Midnight
This four-piece from Tulsa, AfterMidnight came to be a little over a year ago. Since their beginning they have been synthesizing their sound more and more as four musicians from different backgrounds with the goal of creating one defining sound that can only be known as AfterMidnight. Since the release of their self-titled EP they have taken more time to work hard and outdo what they have already created, by creating something new, bold, and fresh - with sound that when you are finished listening leaves you feeling like you took a dip in cold, clean water. They have begun to write and record music for their first full length album, aiming to compose something rich with celestial melodies, infectious guitar, polished rhythms, thick textures and full of deep, though provoking lyrics. With a captivating, magnetic musical current AfterMidnight will leave you with a rhythm and a sway that will pull you through the night with bright lights.
Kill the Reflection
Kill the Reflection
Alternative/Post-Punk/Rock. Oklahoma City's own, Music for broken people. KTR is singer/guitarist, Morgan Routt, bassist, Mark Martinez and drummer, Christopher Stevens. Haunting, devilish, sexy, dark & brooding music that rips your lovers heart out & explains your pain in a whirlwind of emotion. We have created a cure, a type of... Music for broken people. A precise depiction of what it means to dwell within our emotions. A tragic reminder for love of the obscure, and the maniac within. KTR is dirt, sex and necessary roughness...

"I wasn't just bored or looking for a hobby, I really feel compelled to let these feelings out. And the more I see my thoughts and visions on paper or in photo or music playback, the more I can analyze and try and figure it all out. Plus it helps me remember a struggle. Sometimes I feel like I'm just trying to create my own favorite band because I don't hear what I want in today's music, not that it's not there because if you look hard enough you can still find it. I don't expect everyone to agree with what I consider beautiful, because I know I have sick way of finding beauty in thing's, so not everyone will get it. I just hope that I can distill some level of comfort in the people that do get it." - MR

A hum rattles inside my brain like a dripping faucet, broken beats and rhythmatic tones echo about and seem to hypnotize my bleeding brain. It's a sound that never sleeps and screams to be written down.

KTR has been featured both on local radio stations Rock 100.5fm the KATT and theSPYfm. They have shared the stage with bands like: Neon Trees, Carolina Liar, Standing Shadows, mr.Gnome. They have been a featured artist on Oklavision.TV (presented by the Chickasaw Nation) & Rock 100.5fm the KATT. Director Patrick George (Dead Film Festival award winner) is doing a documentary on the band, and music video work from director Jonathan Shahan is on the works as well as another show with Rolling Stone's "Band to watch" for, mr.Gnome, in November 2012.

Kill the Reflection's latest album "Together... Apart..." can be found on iTunes.com & CDbaby.com, and they are currently writing new material to record their new EP for 2012.
