Uncured
Uncured is a hard rock    4-piece from New Jersey founded by brothers Rex Cox (21) and Zak Cox (23), who both play guitar and sing.  Micah Smith plays bass and JP Vega plays drums.

Uncured started touring in 2017 and in 3 years performed over 225 shows in 14 countries with top acts such as Lacuna Coil, Jinjer, All That Remains, Cradle of Filth, Soulfly, Children of Bodom, Devildriver, Whitechapel, Katatonia, and Jasta (Hatebreed).  Uncured opened for Judas Priest and Sabaton at the Warlando 2021 music festival in Florida.

Uncured has released six new singles throughout 2021 and will release a new album in early 2022.

Uncured released its first full-length record Medusa on March 10, 2017.   The record was named one of the "10 Best Metal Albums of 2017" by AXS.com.  MetalSucks wrote that Medusa is "a synthesis of all manner of melodic, progressive, technical metal — Dream Theater, Opeth, et al. — mixed with a groovy, almost tribal approach trafficked by ’90s stalwarts like Sepultura and Fear Factory.  Have those two genres ever been mixed together before?  Probably, somewhere.  Have they ever been mixed together before with such finesse and originality?  Certainly not."

Uncured released its second full-length album Epidemic on April 19, 2019.  Epidemic was also met with massive critical success.  MetalSucks described the album’s first single “Choke” as “an assemblage of chunky caveman breakdowns that dance around the band’s signature groovy riffs and hook-fueled solos, offering excitement and a never-ending propulsion of madness.”  Uncured created a play-through of its single “Conquistador” exclusively for Guitar World, who referred to the song as a “technically dazzling track.”  Finally, MetalSucks called the single “Death Valley” an “absolute slayer of a tune, an amalgamation of prog, power, groove, and death metal.”

Uncured's 2019 cover of Slayer's 2001 classic "Disciple" was named 2019's Cover of the Year by Sirius XM Liquid Metal.  Uncured released its EP Uncovered in early 2020, including covers of songs byThe Beastie BoysAmericaPantera, and Sepultura

Uncured has gained a reputation among fans and critics for its energetic live performances and virtuoso playing.  Metal Injection reported that "Uncured sounds a bit like old school Dream Theater with some modern tricks thrown in, such as full-on breakdowns and smoking guitar acrobatics.  This band is comprised of extremely talented and promising young musicians.”

Metal Assault Magazine reported that "the talent in musical composition and song arrangement was vastly evident right from the outset, and it never ceased to engage and compel.  Uncured’s roots are firmly planted in prog, but also in Scandinavian death metal, and the manner in which they moved from crushing heavy grooves to break into smooth, sexy interludes was beyond exemplary.”  Shutter 16 Magazine simply stated: "just wow, the raw talent of such a young fronted band is outstanding.  Formed, written, and lead by two teenagers, is truly insane."  The magazine continued that Uncured has "the sound of old school metal with an influx of modern solos and rhythms, while vocally pulling from a death metal side of things.  The solos were the contrast to their music, very progressive sounding and very technical, whereas their song structure was brutal and heavy."

Critics have commented on the diversity of Uncured's sound. CrypticRock reports that Uncured "matches speedy, technical guitar riffs with blistering drumming--but the true highlight of Uncured's live set is the ability to slow it down at the drop of a dime, mixing in darker, compelling storylines amidst all the chaos."  Metal Nexus says, "It has been a long time since I have been this utterly impressed by a new band.  And how often do you see two vocalists unleashing harsh vocals with intense yet melodic riffs?  The young lads with their youthful energy, technical prowess, and blistering speed set the stage on fire."

Madame Mayhem

Those who yearn for the electric catharsis of loud guitars, driving rhythms, hypnotic hooks, and the strength of shared experience have a new muse in Madame Mayhem.

The Manhattan born singer/songwriter and burgeoning rock icon-in-the-making has weaponized the darkness, turning it into a rallying cry for all who were ever cast aside. Songs like “Broken,” “War You Started,” and “So Wrong” are equal parts timeless sentiment, bareknuckle fury, and energized urgency. Madame Mayhem’s songs rival the best of Modern Rock, early ‘90s emotive-grunge, and nü-metal angst.

As her name suggests, Madame Mayhem takes charge of her own anxiety, hurt, and alienation, crushing it with sheer force of will, then channeling the remaining ether into pulse-pounding anthems, instantly connecting with anyone who has struggled.

Madame Mayhem doesn’t fit comfortably in any one box, shifting seamlessly from pile driving to almost precious with skilled frenzy. In fact, Madame Mayhem boasts the arena-ready thrill of Disturbed, the soaring chest-pounding sensibility of Breaking Benjamin, the brazen, clever, and rad attitude of Pat Benatar, all delivered with the grand theatricality of Iron Maiden and the operatic thunder of Evanescence.

An acolyte of heartfelt melody from a young age, the classically trained singer, pianist, and guitarist studied at the Manhattan School of Music and Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Broadway may have beckoned, but the pull of hard rock was stronger. Pairing her well heeled chops and personal theatricality with raw sonic force Madame Mayhem quickly commanded attention from iHeart Radio, VH1’s That Metal Show and a powerhouse team of luminaries from the rock world.

She’s shared stages with Sevendust, Memphis May Fire, Fozzy, Nonpoint and Doro. Across three exceedingly well-received albums – Ready for Me (2017), Now You Know (2015), and White Noise (2012) – Madame Mayhem worked with Russ “Satchel” Parrish (Steel Panther), Corey Lowery (Seether), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (ex-Guns N’ Roses), and Troy McLawhorn (Evanescence) to name just a few. Her 2019 single “Broken” was co-written with Keith Wallen (Breaking Benjamin) and features her longtime friends and collaborators Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big) and Ray Luzier (Korn). “Breaking Down”, which Madame Mayhem co-wrote with Brian Vodinh (10 Years) and produced by Johnny K, was released in 2020. She once again collaborated with Keith Wallen for the February 2021 single release of “Cruel Heart” and September 2021 single release of “I Am More”. Both songs were produced by Johnny K (Disturbed, Megadeth, Sevendust, Finger Eleven). The current release, “I Am More” is already getting rave reviews.

Her music has taken her into some of the world’s best-known venues, like B.B. King Blues Club in New York, The Roxy in Hollywood, and a Grammy week stint at Nashville’s Bluebird Café, to name just a few. Loudwire premiered her “Ready for Me” music video. She’s garnered very positive press in Revolver and Guitar World. The buzz has spread overseas as well, demonstrated by profiles in long-running tastemaker publications like Rock HardAardschok, and Metal Hammer magazine.

As the fashion press observed, the look is the medium and the music is the message. The self-expression inherent in goth and glam are just more colors on Madame Mayhem’s artistic palette. Black eyeliner and black leather; pink lips and sharp spikes; it’s part of an arsenal as timeless as the New York Dolls or The Runaways.

There’s no escaping the darkness. Life is full of unpleasant surprises. Real and imagined disasters, from outside forces and from within, threaten at every turn. But those who learn to control and command the chaos will triumph. This rock n’ roll badass invites each audience to become the Madame of their own Mayhem. As ASX declared, “She’s aggressive, outrageous, and operatic… And she’s ready for you.”

All's Fair
All's Fair is a hard rock band from Tulsa, OK. The band was formed during the Covid19 lockdown when the members began recording music for fun. The band wrote and recorded an entire punk/pop album that was never released. Luke says "We were messing around with some ideas for the last song and it ended up being a lot heavier and really a different genre than everything else that we had up to that point, but we loved it and decided to go more in that direction." All's Fair blends catchy vocal melodies with heavy guitar and bass riffs, intricate keys and explosive drums.
