Jack Kerowax
Dallas-Fort Worth, TX – Jack Kerowax, fronted by singer-songwriter Johnny Beauford, sit comfortably within the realm of Americana with space enough for real Country, Rock n’ Roll & Texas Blues. The band has established a powerful live sound and have been actively performing since early 2012. The seasoned 4-piece is composed of long-time collaborators Johnny Beauford & Garrett Padgett as well as father-son rhythm duo Nathan Adamson & Nash Griggs.

Their self-titled 10-track debut was recorded, mixed, and mastered solely on analog equipment at Adamson’s own Ferralog Studios in Dallas, TX. The Kerowax LP released in late 2014 hit #20 between Lucinda Williams and Ryan Bingham on the Euro-Americana Chart for January 2015. Standout single “Bliss” remained on the “Top Hits” list on DFW public radio 91.7 KXT for 15 straight weeks to start 2015. The album’s second single “Moonshine Barber” made it’s debut on the “No Depression” podcast and the album was officially released on Vinyl soon-there-after.

The band continued to gain attention in several European countries as well as landing solid praise in Texas and numerous other U.S. states as they played 75+ shows in the Southern U.S. throughout 2015.

Searchlights
Searchlights
The music of Searchlights presents a dynamic odyssey. Melancholic guitar lines swell with atmosphere, soft texture gives way to heart stopping bass and propulsive drums --- simple drones evolve into artful grooves. Their unexampled style incorporates ethereal vocals, Japanese taiko and layered soundscapes into compositions that are cinematic and invoke strong emotion.

Formed by guitarist Lane Devereaux and bassist Korey Krause in 2012, the pair challenged themselves to explore slow tempos, soundscapes and programming glitched out percussion. A self titled album was released in 2014 featuring drummer Mike Fienen on tracks “Cloud Traveler” and “Magnetic North”. Mike’s drum kit and style are one of a kind. Playing a mix of traditional Japanese taiko drums and Western percussion, he intricately matches the moods of the guitar and bass. Icy cymbals wash and reverberate, a deep kick drum pulses, shimes cut loud and clear, with the okedo holding a heartbeat bass

Searchlights are working on performing throughout the midwest. Their soundscapes dig deep bringing audiences into a rich sound environment. Listen and let your mind wander.
